Happy New Year!!

I just wrote a huge blog on resolutions, read through it, highlighted it and deleted it, because.. really, who cares? No one sticks to them anyway.. And why would you want to read about mine. I do love that the new year can be a start of a new chapter if you want it to be, or if you plan on living your same simple life like I plan to here are a few tips that I live by:

Advice for the New Year and every year:

Get up a few minutes earlier and sit down to have your coffee, or breakfast. Not feeling like you're in a crazy rush can set the tone for your entire day. Having just a few minutes to actually enjoy your day in the morning can make a world of difference. Try it and see.

Make your bed! It doesn't have to be perfect, but if you accomplish one thing right off the bat your mind will be programed to want to accomplish more.. plus it will make it that much better to crawl into bed at night.

Keep moving.. I admit it .. I hate exercising. It's all fun and games when you're young and can eat an entire quickie mart with no consequences, but face it you're a year older. I'm not saying join your nearest crossfit team, but perhaps park in that furthest stall, take the stairs instead of the escalator, or my favorite slap on your favorite jam and just dance .. just a few minutes a day adds up, and can keep you feeling bikini confident without setting aside hours for a workout that in reality you're probably gonna skip anyway.

What are your tips? We'd love to hear them!
